The Bizarre One falls, but for how long?
BY GARAGEMASTER; A Special Rainbowchair Report
With it being Wrestlemania season, the past few weeks of WWE events have been nothing short of a spectacle. Today’s bout between the crowd favorite Booker T and the twisted veteran Goldust was no exception. It would be an understatement to say that the troops got exactly what they deserved for the work they do every day, fighting the good fight. In an iron man match that ditched the conventional 1 hour time limit and chose a quarter length match at 15 minutes, the troops were on the edge of their seats. For them the battle going on in the squared circle was more important than the one across the sands in the streets of Afghanistan for this was for all the marbles, more specifically the European and WCW championships!
This match was without a shadow of a doubt made for the highlight reel. Intensity was at an all time high as the two Gods battled outside of the ring in what ended as a double count out giving Goldust his first of only two decision in the match. Booker T was able to spin-a-rooni his way to four decisions to become the 9-time, 9-TIME WCW champion. The bizarre one kept Booker on his toes however by countering his finisher a record breaking two times in a row. Booker T was in excellent form and kicked out after these blows to his ego making sure he was not the victim of shattered dreams. The Golden one, as expected, seemed to pale in comparison to the creamy dark visage of King Booker. This match will certainly go down as the brightest moment in Booker’s flawless legacy and will be just another sad story for black sheep of the Rhodes family. I truly cannot wait to see what the future has in store as the champ himself squares off against Hawk of the Road Warriors in what is sure to be a clash of the titans.
