We are creatures of habit, and remarkably so, and that very subject I could get into a 2,000-word post on that very topic, and probably should sometime, but not right now.
I usually start my morning every day by drinking a cup of coffee and checking my e-mails, one in particular.
I usually get an e-mail every morning from a service provided for journalists to give them story ideas when they are fresh out. On a side-bar located in this e-mail is some of the best random information anyone could ask for: TV blooper of the day, celebrity birthdays, random trivia, some sort of top-10 list and the viral video of the day.
I do this for particular reason other than to be entertained. It puts me in an inquisitive mood usually. If I find a celebrity who’s name I don’t know, I’ll usually spend the next 10 minutes or so IMDBing them, or finding some useless bit of knowledge I’d like to investigate a little further.
It puts me in the mood to learn, and more importantly for you all, to write.
For almost the past week, my computer has been broken at work and I have been banished to the back of the office, to sit at a lady’s desk who only comes in twice a week. I have one of those networked e-mail accounts, so I can’t access my normal e-mail account until my computer comes back, hence the funk in my day-to-day which has rippled into my posting and writing.
Today is an important day for us at Rainbowchair. Well, not really, but it is a milestone day for us.
I remember when our site stats were getting close to the 100 mark, and then the 500 mark and finally the 1,000 mark. It was a sign to me that a number of people same as myself and those who help make Rainbowchair, show interest in the same things we do.
It was more or less a message from all of you to me saying, “keep going, at least a couple thousand people are enjoying your work.”
Getting to 100 posts is a different threshold though, and it is much in response to the message I received from.
We have now reached 100 posts, and we never would have gotten here without the encouragement of all who come here, whether that be through a comment, or just your visit adding more views to our page: everything counts because it’s something that we can actually see.
So thank you.
I mentioned I was in a funk, a writing funk for the passed several days, and that is true. I went back to my first creative love, back when I still hated writing. I got on my computer—well not mine, that other lady’s computer –hopped on Photoshop, and made you all a picture!
It’s not much, tis very simple, but consider it still, as a token of our appreciation as you take in all the pretty colors, ha ha.
To my writers, you have done more for Rainbowchair than I have. Orangechair has been gracing the pages of the entertainment section like Brian Boitano graced the ice when he won the 1988 Olympic gold.
Red has been our loyal sports correspondent. I call him my correspondent because lately, he has been doing more moving than he has been doing sitting, and he has still found time to talk about the NBA playoffs.
Greychair, Garagemaster and Bluechair have all made guest appearances on Ranbowchair, and with a little more encouragement, may grace the pages on a more frequent basis, particularly Blue if we prod and pry and touch him in his no-no’s enough—that’s right, no no’s.

So thank you to everyone, we still have plenty of things brewing and new ideas all the time. My hope, is that within a few weeks/month, there may even be a new video section. And as always, if you would ever like to write something, have something posted, or just feel like saying something…. E-mail us at rainbowchair@mail.com

We’ve made it to 100, and that is pretty neat,
But don’t you think 200 posts could be even more sweet?
So I hope the thousands can still find it deep within their hearts,
We’ll pretty much do anything—even touch your no-no parts.
I promise you I’m serious in everything I say,
Come see us tomorrow even if you were here just yesterday.
We promise to keep posting, and to always try to share,
The things we do and like and such, for we are Rainbowchair.
Congratulations, and keep on blogging :).
